E-Invoicing IRBM

Following the recent announcement by the Inland Revenue Board Malaysia (IRBM) regarding the mandatory implementation of e-invoicing for all businesses, we are in the process of gathering the necessary information to ensure full compliance with these new regulations.

Frequently Asked Questions

For the issuance of e-invoice, please provide the information below:

  1. Company and contact details
  2. Business Registration Number (BRN)
  3. Sales and Service Tax (SST) Number
  4. Tax Identification Number (TIN)

Please submit the mandatory information by 31 July 2024. This timeline is required for Messrs. Nor Chambers to handle preparations required for the issuance of e-invoice to you

If the mandatory information requested is not provided or inaccurate, LHDN will reject your e-invoice during its validation. Consequently, Messrs. Nor Chambers will not be able to issue a validated e-invoice that your company may require for tax deduction. However, Messrs. Nor Chambers will continue to issue the usual invoice without LHDN’s validation to you for payment purposes

Messrs. Nor Chambers has received concession from LHDN to issue e-invoice by 1 July 2025, but we endeavor to implement issuance of e-invoices progressively. We will get in touch with you when the e-invoices are ready. During this interim period, please be assured that you will continue to receive your current invoices as usual.
